The service

Shinobi Tools offers a free online photo metadata remover and acts as the home page for a family of free sister tools that live on their own sites. Using the metadata remover requires no account. Supported formats and size limits are stated next to the tool; files are processed automatically and deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.

Fair use

• Only upload files you own or have the right to process.
• Don't use the service for anything unlawful, and don't attempt to disrupt, overload or reverse-engineer it.
• Automated bulk use that degrades the service for others may be rate-limited or blocked.

Your files, your rights

You keep every right to the photos you upload and download. We claim no ownership, no licence beyond what is technically needed to process the file, and we don't keep copies.

No warranty

The service is provided "as is", free of charge, without warranties of any kind. We work hard to remove all removable metadata (and the tool shows you what it found and removed), but you are responsible for checking that the result meets your needs before sharing a file — especially where privacy is critical. The service may be changed, interrupted or discontinued at any time.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, this free service.
