ShinobiTools offers a free online photo metadata remover and acts as the home page for a family of free sister tools that live on their own sites. Using the metadata remover requires no account. Supported formats and size limits are stated next to the tool; files are processed automatically and deleted as described in the Privacy Policy · Refund Policy.
You keep every right to the photos you upload and download. We claim no ownership, no licence beyond what is technically needed to process the file, and we don't keep copies.
The service is provided "as is", free of charge, without warranties of any kind. We work hard to remove all removable metadata (and the tool shows you what it found and removed), but you are responsible for checking that the result meets your needs before sharing a file — especially where privacy is critical. The service may be changed, interrupted or discontinued at any time.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, this free service.

Most of ShinobiTools costs nothing and always will. On StemGrab, ScribeGrab and PassportNinja you can additionally buy a pass — €5 for 30 days or €3 for 24 hours, a one-off purchase and not a subscription — which raises the free limits on that tool for the period you bought. Buying a pass doesn't create an account: it's tied to the browser you bought it in, the same way the rest of the site works without sign-up. There is nothing to sign up for anywhere on ShinobiTools, including on the paid pass. That's a design choice, not a missing feature: an account would mean storing an e-mail address and a login for a tool people mostly use once or twice, which is more data than the job needs. It also means there's no lookup of "your" past files, because there is no "your" to look them up under — each upload is anonymous and temporary, exactly as the Privacy Policy describes.
We may update this page as the service changes — a new tool, a changed limit, a clarified rule. The version published here is always the one that applies. We don't keep a change log, but nothing on this page is applied retroactively against you; a change takes effect from the date it's published, going forward.
