Splitting is the heart of StemGrab, but most jobs need one step before or after it. Those steps each have their own free tool on the site:

Honest expectations
Vocals, drums and bass are the strong suits. Guitar and piano are newer, experimental stems, so expect them rougher in dense mixes. Podcasts and voice memos have no instruments to separate; the site tells you when that happens instead of handing you silent files. And the legal note: the tool is free to use, but rights to the music stay with whoever owns the recording — StemGrab's Legal Guide Stems Sampling spells out what that means for a remix or a release.
