Karaoke without the vocals, a clean bass track once you isolate bass from song mixes, or an acapella extractor pass for a remix: StemGrab splits a full mix into its parts. One upload returns seven downloads: vocals, drums, bass, guitar, piano, other, and a clean instrumental (everything except the vocals).

Need to remove vocal from a track? The instrumental download is exactly that — everything except the vocals. It also works to remove vocals from a duet or a whole band mix. This vocal remover ai splits the track on our own GPU, and the download is ready in under a minute per song. The vocals remover output arrives as a separate stem alongside the six others. Remover vocal opens the same page too — one upload, seven stems, no sign-up.
Splitting is the heart of StemGrab, but most jobs need one step before or after it. Those steps each have their own free tool on the site:
Against the known names: vocalremover.org is quick but caps quality and length; LALAL.AI charges per minute. StemGrab runs the same class of model on our own hardware with no per-minute fee — the honest limit is the queue when it is busy, and the 20-minute cap per track.
MP3, WAV, FLAC, M4A, OGG and more. Splitting starts immediately.
The model pulls the mix apart, usually done in under a minute per song.
Preview, download individual stems or the zip. Your upload is already wiped.
Vocals, drums and bass are the strong suits. Guitar and piano are newer, experimental stems, so expect them rougher in dense mixes. Podcasts and voice memos have no instruments to separate; the site tells you when that happens instead of handing you silent files. And the legal note: the tool is free to use, but rights to the music stay with whoever owns the recording — StemGrab's Legal Guide Stems Sampling spells out what that means for a remix or a release.
Want the lyrics or an interview on paper instead? ScribeGrab transcribes audio and video to text and subtitles. Making a lyric video? VideoBGNinja gives you clean video cut-outs for overlays.
