BGNinja: backgrounds gone in one click

Product photos for a marketplace listing, a clean cut-out for a thumbnail, a sticker of your dog: BGNinja removes the background from any photo and hands you a transparent PNG. Need more control? Paint over anything with the eraser brush, or use Magic erase to remove an unwanted object and let AI fill in the background behind it.

What it does

How it works

1 Drop a photo

JPG, PNG or WebP. The subject is detected and cut out automatically.

2 Brush if needed

Most photos are done at step 1, but for tricky edges or object removal, use the brushes.

3 Transparent PNG

Save the cut-out with real transparency, ready for shops, decks and designs.

Honest expectations

Clear subjects (people, products, animals) on reasonably distinct backgrounds cut out very cleanly. Fine hair, glass and fog are hard for every tool: that's what the manual restore brush is for. Magic erase is best on small-to-medium objects; removing half the scene will show.

Goes well with

Strip the photo's metadata first with the metadata remover if you're posting the result publicly. Restoring an old photo before cutting it out? Start at PicReviver. Need the same trick on moving footage? VideoBGNinja removes video backgrounds.
